Customer Personal and Professional Information

When submitting a Request for Quote on GeotechGate, you will be asked to provide us with personal contact information, your company information and details of your request. We will use this information to help matching your request to the right supplier. This information will not be published or used for any purpose other than what it is intended for.

Supplier Registration

When registering as a supplier, you are asked to provide us with your company profile and contact information and details of your products and services, and you are required to choose a username and password that will be used for accessing your account on GeotechGate. We use this information to match the quote requests with your company. Most of the information is used internally and will not be published; however, we may use some of this information for the purpose of site reporting and improvement and we may publish the name and logo of the suppliers on our website. 

Communicating between Customers and Suppliers

GeotechGate matches the Quote Request of the customers with the right suppliers and upon approval of the suppliers, will provide them with the contact information of the customers. Once information has been shared with the supplier, it is out of the control of GeotechGate and subject to the privacy policy of that supplier.

E-mail Communications Policy

By signing up with GeotechGate as a supplier and providing us with your e-mail address, you agree to accept our e-mail communication policy which considers email communication as a valid and main communication channel for  services and operation of GeotechGate including, but not limited to: Quote Request information, modification to our services, notification of service interruption, changes to this policy, and change to Terms and Conditions of our services.

Cookies

GeotechGate may set Cookies on your computer to save you time and provide convenience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by our web server. Cookies are uniquely generated and assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the same domain that set the cookie on your computer. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.

Data Security

GeotechGate is doing its best to keep its user information secure using reasonable procedures. We may disclose such information to third parties with whom we work for the purpose of site operation. However, we are not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties who receive the information.

Changes to this Policy

GeotechGate reserves the right to change this policy as required. The registered suppliers will be notified of significant changes using e-mail communication.
